Signing up for online banking is quick and easy. You can sign up online (link to 4.2). You'll be asked to enter in your account number and access code. The access code for members who joined the credit union after February 2006 is the last 4-digits of their SS # number. For members who joined prior to February 2006 please call us at (415) 765-6850 and we'll set your access number immediately.
How do I access Embarcadero FCU's online banking service for the first time?
After you've signed up for Embarcadero FCU's online banking service, you can access online banking on every page on our site at the top right corner within the box that looks like this:
Enter your member account number and four-digit access code. The access code for members who joined the credit union after February 2006 is the last 4-digits of their SS # number. For members who joined prior to February 2006 please call us at (415) 765-6850 and we'll set your access number immediately.
Once you login you'll need to change your access code to a 8-10 alphanumeric code. This will be your new access code.

Using online banking
What if I make a mistake when trying to transfer funds?
Before completing a transaction, Embarcadero FCU's online banking service will prompt you to either "confirm transfer" or "cancel transfer". If you complete a transfer and need assistance, simply call the member service center at (415) 765-6850 or contact us through the message board within the online banking system.
Can I change my PIN and/or password?
Yes, it is recommended that you change this information periodically to ensure security. To do so simply click on the "PIN Change/Password Change" button in Embarcadero FCU's online banking service and you'll be able to make the changes.
How far back can I look at my account information?
Embarcadero FCU's online banking service generally retains three months of history on your accounts.

Do I need to "sign off" after each session of Embarcadero FCU's online banking service?
No, but it is highly recommended that you do so. Nonetheless, Embarcadero FCU's online banking service will automatically "sign off" after 10 minutes of no activity.
